Our silk cocoons are used for crafts, as raw material for silk lotion, and as educational supplies in schools. We also have a track record of supplying cocoons internationally for sericin and fibroin extraction, as well as biomedical research applications. Dyed cocoons are ready to use for craft projects, and specimen cocoons are ideal for museum and educational displays. Silkworm eggs are used by universities and research institutions for silkworm studies and education. There is also growing worldwide demand for silkworm eggs as live feeder insects for reptile breeding. Silkworms are soft-bodied, easy to digest, and high in protein, making them a highly nutritious live food for pet reptiles such as bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and chameleons.

How to Order

To place an international order, please request a quote by email.

After receiving your quote, we will send you our international shipping terms. Your order will be confirmed upon your agreement.

Order Process

Inquiry — Contact us by email with the products, quantities, and destination.
Quote — We will send you a quote including product cost, shipping fees, and handling charges, along with our shipping terms.
Payment — Upon agreement, please complete your payment.
Shipment — After payment confirmation, we will pack and ship your order. A tracking number will be sent by email.
Delivery — Your package arrives. Customs duties, if any, are the responsibility of the recipient.

Payment Methods

PayPal: Available for international payments.
Bank Transfer: Only from Japanese domestic banks in Japanese Yen (JPY).

Note: We do not accept international bank transfers due to deducted fees and exchange rate fluctuations.

International Handling Fee

4.1% of total + ¥40 (for international orders)

Delivery Time, Packaging & Orders

Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery times vary depending on the destination and products ordered. We will provide an estimate with your quote.
If you have a preferred delivery date, please let us know when requesting your quote.

Packaging

Cocoons are carefully packed with cushioning materials to prevent damage.
Silkworm eggs require temperature-controlled transport at 2°C and are shipped via cold chain.

Minimum Order Quantity

There is no minimum order requirement. We accept orders of any size, so please feel free to request a quote.

Cancellation & Return Policy

All international orders require full prepayment.
Cancellations and returns are not accepted after payment has been made. Please review your quote carefully before placing your order.

Export Documents

If export documents such as a Phytosanitary Certificate are required, we can look into arranging them.
However, please note that document preparation may require additional time.

For faster shipment, we recommend that customers prepare the necessary documents on their end.
Please discuss documentation requirements when requesting your quote.

Important Notes

The recipient is responsible for any customs duties or taxes imposed by the destination country.
Please verify in advance that the ordered products can be legally imported into your country.
Detailed international shipping terms will be provided with your quote. Your order is confirmed upon agreement to these terms.

CITES & International Regulations

The silkworm eggs and cocoons sold by our shop are not subject to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) regulations.
The domesticated silkworm (Bombyx mori) is not listed in the CITES appendices, as it is a fully domesticated insect and not a protected wild species.

However, some countries may have their own agricultural or quarantine regulations.
Please check the import regulations of your destination country before ordering.
